Nestled in the beautiful Tahoe National Forest in Nevada City, California (zone FR-X), we are working tirelessly to bring this sanctuary to life. Our mission is simple: provide a safe, open space where dogs can heal, grow, and find their forever homes.
Unlike traditional kennels, we envision a sanctuary where dogs have plenty of space to run, play, and feel free. We want to create an environment that allows them to regain trust, build confidence, and enjoy life again.
Our Future Plans
We’re starting with 5 acres but hope to expand to 10 of our 20.5 acres as we grow. Our dream is to host adoption events and fundraisers on-site, not only to find loving homes for our dogs but also to spread awareness about animal welfare and inspire others to join this movement.

Located in the beautiful Tahoe National Forest, we are working tirelessly to create a sanctuary for dogs on our 20.5-acre property in Nevada City, California, starting with fencing off 5 acres and building a few small permitted structures to provide safe spaces for dogs in need.
While we have the space, heart, and time to make this dream a reality, we need the help of animal lovers like you to bring it to life. Our mission goes beyond just rescuing dogs from the streets and shelters — we are committed to rehabilitating, training, and giving them the love and care they need to find their forever homes. We want to avoid the typical kennel setup and give these dogs the freedom to run, play, and grow in open spaces.

- Fence off 5 acres of land for the dogs to roam safely
- Build small, permitted structures for shelter and care
- Fund spaying, neutering, and medical care for the dogs
- Host adoption events and fundraisers to save more lives
