Welcome to Fighting for Paws! I'm Jullaney McKee, and alongside my husband, Tyler, and our son, we are dedicated to giving every dog the fighting chance they deserve. Our passion for animals drives everything we do, and together, we have created this rescue as a haven for dogs in need.
At Fighting for Paws, our mission is to focus on rehabilitation and ensuring dogs can coexist happily with their forever families. Every dog that comes into our care will receive the training they need, be spayed or neutered, chipped, and properly socialized. We believe in the philosophy that a tired dog is a good dog, and through mental stimulation and physical activity, we help transform their lives. We never leave our dogs kenneled and feel that is the best way to truly help them. No body wants to be caged, and we cannot expect a caged dog to grow and reach their full potential that way.

At Fighting for Paws, our mission was born out of love and the will to save lives. It all started with Granola—our brave mascot and the dog who inspired it all. Granola was found abandoned, beaten, shot in the arm, with her tail cruelly chopped off. She was days away from death when we rescued her from a field. But thanks to care, compassion, and determination, Granola made a full recovery and became the heart of our rescue.
Her story represents countless dogs out there, waiting for their second chance. With your help, we can give them the love and care they need to recover, heal, and find their forever homes.
